2025.01.01 8902 [NYM] NEW YEAR MESSAGE FOR 41G LL

New Year’s Greetings

Dear Park Square Landlord Team, and Martin,

We hope this message finds you well and that you are enjoying the start of the New Year. As we step into 2025, we wanted to reach out with our warmest wishes for a prosperous and joyful year ahead for you and yours. This is further to our recent warm regards at 2024.12.18 1521 1.

Update on Tenancy

We are writing to provide a brief update on our tenancy at Unit 228 and to reiterate our commitment to open communication and collaborative solutions. We deeply appreciate your understanding and support as our landlord, especially as we navigate the challenges that have arisen recently. We acknowledge that we are not able to match pre-existing compliance, and for this, we are sorry. We’ve been paying (see “Recent Payment List” below) and are committed to resolving the outstanding balances in this special era in time.

Meeting with Lillian

We are also writing to address our recent meeting with Lillian on December 18, 2024. We appreciate Martin’s referral, as Lillian was introduced as a potential subtenant for some of our additional rooms. After the meeting, we’ve decided not to pursue this sublease option at this time. The full story is at intra-page 2024.12.19 1800 2.

Operational Challenges

We have encountered operational challenges, including issues with the City of Vancouver’s Development Department, mixed with FSR Tom Wong and Your office, which have impacted our business. These issues have caused delays and disruptions, including those related to signage. While we are actively seeking clarity and resolutions to these external factors, we are also focused on internal solutions to strengthen our business and ensure consistent payments.

Recent Payment List

We also acknowledge that the payment tracking has been onerous, similar to the mail-snafu. However, we have been making consistent efforts to clear the balance, and we are committed to providing clarity as we move forward. Here is a list of the known payments we have made:

  • December 31, 2024: $1000
  • December 3, 2024: $1000
  • December 1, 2024: $1000
  • November 28, 2024: $1000
  • October 29, 2024: $1000
  • October 12, 2024: $1000
  • October 3, 2024: $1000
  • September 28, 2024: $1000
  • September 3, 2024: $1500
  • August 20, 2024: $2000

Thank you once again for your attention to this matter. We will keep you updated on our progress.

Sincerely,
