Area Parking Etiquette
Kindly take note of the following while enjoying your free parking and beautiful walk in the area.
“The City of Vancouver regulates off-street parking to balance the needs of residents, commuters, and visitors. The Parking Bylaw applies to vehicle parking spaces, loading spaces, bicycle spaces, and passenger spaces1. The Street and Traffic Bylaw 2849 is enforced for street and lane regulations2.
According to Section 17.6 (f) of the Street and Traffic Bylaw 2849, between 8am and 6pm every day, you cannot park your vehicle for more than 3 hours in front of residential or commercial properties that you do not own or work at2.”
Granville Street Parking
Free Parking along sections of Granville street.
Be mindful of Vancouver City’s rush hour limitation. In this case, there is no parking from 3 pm to 6 pm Monday to Friday for the majority of the section.
That also means it’s free parking all day on the Weekends on Granville street.
